The 2015 Roanoke Vineyards Another Time, Another Place is a field blend made by Rich Pisacano and Macari Vineyard's Kelly Urbanik Koch. Here Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot grapes were combined before crushing, allowing flavor harmonies to develop even before fermentation. To do this well you need to know your vineyard, and this is an outstanding example of the field blending concept. Drink now, or keep until 2022.
